Free parking is a plus, but the bar area needs more seating options.

The Longfrie Inn presented a warm atmosphere with helpful staff, although the bathroom sweetener was overpowering. I appreciated the tea facilities in the room and the cleanliness throughout. Breakfast had an exceptional selection, and the overall comfort was worth mentioning.

I guess I shouldn't complain too much about the cleanliness of the bath, even if it was dirty upon arrival. It’s just shocking that the bar scene felt like an afterthought, with no comfy area to sip a drink. It would have been nice to receive a complimentary drink for the inconvenience, but I suppose that’s asking too much nowadays.

The room featured ample supplies of hot drinks with daily replenishments, ensuring comfort during the stay. Breakfast offerings included a full English with excellent coffee, while the evening menu showcased fresh, well-prepared meals that impressed on repeat visits.
Access to the room involved a winding staircase, which might pose a slight challenge, especially for older guests. The bar lacked a cozy area for leisurely drinks, forcing patrons to either find a small lounge area away from the action or sit at the bar itself. the dining hours were limited, shutting down from 3 p.m. on Sundays and all day Monday, which felt restrictive considering local options also close on those days.
